The Secret

Lately, I've been on a mission to improve my writing, build my success as an author, and further my learning on this wonderful craft.  And so I came across a DVD I've watched many times before, but which had fallen by the wayside recently.  That DVD is The Secret.

The Secret is based on the concept of the Law of Attraction, and it is something that can be used on a daily basis in your everyday life, and something that can be incorporated into the writing life.

When writing your novel, know exactly where it is you want to go with your story.  Understand and be sure of your vision.  Don't doubt your ability.  Know, 100%, in your heart that you will create the story that will be an accurate reflection of what is in your mind and heart.  This is the goal of all writing, and it is something that lifts the average everyday book up into the realms of a fantastic book.

If you haven't seen the The Secret DVD or read the book, go out now and buy it.  You won't be disappointed.  The Law of Attraction states that the energy vibration we send out is the same as the energy vibration that will come back to us.  So make sure that when you write, you are sending out the clearest vibration of thoughts that you can about the story that you want to tell.  It has been scientifically proved that thoughts have a vibration (frequency) and that like attracts like.  So if you want to succeed, be sure that you are focusing your thoughts on the right frequency.  Connect with your story on a deep level.  Be confident when you write that you are going to get your message out as clearly and as compellingly as possible.  Then...release it to the world.

However, your work doesn't stop there.  You need to keep positive.  No matter what happens, keep your positive hat on.  KNOW that you will succeed.  KNOW that your story will reach and touch people.  Failure is only failure if you give up.  The most successful people in the world failed many times before they succeeded.  Failure merely forms indicators of what you need to do next.

So...go and write that book.  Clutch to your vision as strongly as you can.  Then let your baby fly into the world and be 100% confident that it will soar...no matter what.  Keep the faith!
